Our trained professional then injects the Sculptra solution into the deep layers of the skin using a thin needle. The Sculptra solution works by stimulating the body's natural collagen production, gradually restoring facial volume and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and folds. The treatment typically takes about an hour and most patients can return to their normal activities immediately following the procedure.
Pre and Post Care Instructions
Before your Sculptra treatment at Contour Laser Medi Spa, avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil for at least a week to minimize the risk of bruising. Come to your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin.
After your treatment, you may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. Apply a cold pack to these areas to help reduce any swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and exposure to heat or sun for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
